What is STEM FEST?

 

STEM FEST is a community fundraising festival that showcases what our students are experiencing in the classroom and beyond. STEM FEST encourages our community to engage in Cosplay, participate in different STEM activities, and burn off energy with large inflatables, all while financially supporting our teachers, staff, clubs and school. With two entrance tickets choices, you can create your own experience while raising money to support the school, teachers and Enrichment Clubs. 

 

All teacher/club activities are fundraisers and each activity/social will be a part of the unlimited ticket this year. 

 

We will also be adding a silent auction this year. Our silent auction will include Terrific Teacher Time Experiences, fun Community Socials and additional experiences to bid on throughout the day. Can’t make it? NO WORRIES. You can still bid on any of the auction items directly from your phone using the HandBid app.

STEM FEST Tickets ON SALE NOW!

 

 

This year we are offering two types of tickets: 

  • Unlimited Ticket - unlimited activities and rides on PTO sponsored inflatable games.

  • Companion Tickets- entry to STEM FEST and one opportunity at each station (no carnival activities, inflatables or game tournaments are included in this ticket.)  

  • All adults and children need tickets to enter. Children under 2 are free.)

  • Food and Drinks will be available for purchase.

Pre-Sale tickets:

Until Wednesday before the event at 8 p.m., tickets are available at a discount. 

  • Unlimited Ride & Entrance Ticket is $25 per person.

  • Companion Ticket is $15 - entry to the event and 1 activity at each station .

Day of tickets (purchased at the door):

  • Unlimited Ride & Entrance Ticket is $35 per person.

  • Companion Ticket is $25 - entry to the event only.

Additional tickets sold at the event:

  • Concessions are available for additional cost.

HandBid Instructions  (once the site is created a link will be added)

​

  • Go to the STEM FEST site on HandBid.

  • Register on Handbid if you haven't already. How to:

    • Download the Handbid App for your phone from the app store

    • Click "Get Started" and sign up.  HandBid will text you a 5-digit code. 

    • Enter the code to login.

    • Click the link or search for "STEM" in the A-Z list and select "2019 STEM FEST".

    • Select either "Browse" (to preview) or "Bid" (which prompts for credit card details).

  • Once at "Browse Items", select the items you want and hit "Bid". 

When finished at STEM FEST:​

  • You may click on "Invoices" in the top right corner to process your payment and close out or wait to do that step and join in on the silent auction bidding ends on Saturday, March 30th at 5 pm. You might not want to miss these special opportunities!

  • Note: All sales are final.  No refunds or exchanges.  Any outstanding invoices will be automatically processed at the end of the silent auction. If you need help with an invoice, contact stemfestSTEMPTO@gmail.com.

Volunteer

Teachers and Clubs

If you are a teacher or a club representative, click here to find out how you can raise money for your classroom or club at STEM FEST. Teachers will get their ticket free and participation tickets at a discount for their family.

EMPLOYER MATCHING 

If your employer will be matching your contribution, please request they send the matching funds directly to the Foundation for Douglas County Schools and to be sure they note the funds are to be distributed to: "STEM PTO to benefit STEM School Highlands Ranch".  Then, please email DonateSTEMPTO@gmail.com the company name and donation match amount so we can follow up with FDCS to ensure the funds are received.
