Mom's Night Out
Each month, STEM moms gather to take the night off and have a great time. We go see movies, have trivia nights, and sometimes just gather for a cocktail and appetizers. For more information or if you have an idea for a MNO, email us at eventsSTEMPTO@gmail.com.
Restaurant Nights
STEM PTO works with local restaurants to host community evenings for our families. This is a fun way to show your school spirit (Go Spartans!), get to know other STEM families, and do a little FUN-draising at the same time. Order food (usually dine-in but sometimes take-away), see school friends, and support STEM School as a portion of the sales are donated back to the school. Flyers are sometimes required to ensure your meal counts towards the fundraiser. Watch for restaurant dates, times and locations on our home page, in social media and the school email newsletter throughout the school year.
After School Skating Parties
STEM PTO hosts an all ages after school Skating Party at Skate City three to four times a year. This is a fun way to show off your school spirit (Go Spartans!), hang out with other STEM School Highlands Ranch families, exercise and do a little FUN-draising at the same time. Usually, the SkateCity Fun Bus will transport student from STEM School Highlands Ranch to Skate City after school (permission slip required) for the event. Parent pick-up at Skate City is required. The Skate City party often has a fun theme as well food and snack deals. At the end of the school year STEM School families can buy a discounted Skate City Summer Pass from STEM PTO so they can continue skating for fun with school friends over the summer. STEM PTO Member at Large Coffee
The morning after our PTO meeting, STEM PTO hosts a coffee get together for anyone who was not able to attend the meeting. Come by and hang out with other STEM parents at Chick-fil-A at Highlands Ranch Town Center at 950 Cpl Max Donahue Ln from 9-11 am. We’ll discuss what happened at the PTO meeting as well as upcoming events and activities. Bring your concerns, gripes, feedback and ideas!
Pirate's Cove
At the end of the summer, join STEM PTO and whole STEM community at Pirate’s Cove. Open only to STEM families, we take over the water park for two hours. We work with the school to make sure each student knows who their teachers are and plan fun grade level meet 'n greets. Families who have logged their required volunteer hours receive a special discount price. New families are also welcome to come and meet current families. It is a night to “Kick Start” the new school year right!
STEM Blast Off Family Social
Each year STEM PTO and the whole STEM community celebrate the beginning of school with our annual STEM Blast Off Family Social! This FREE carnival-type event fills a local park with activities for the whole family. Following the STEM School Blast Off 5K, we celebrate being back at school and welcome new families, teachers and staff. This great event will be full of fun, activities, food, but more importantly, friends. Click here to read more.
